Dr. Kelly chose to pursue a career in naturopathic medicine after experiencing it first as a patient in her early teens.  Many years later, she now strives to provide the same type of empowering care that her doctor was able to provide for her. Dr. Kelly received a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in June 2019. She also pursued studies in Visceral Manipulation, Craniosacral Therapy, Intuitive Eating and Biofeedback. These extracurriculars enriched her education and informed her approach to naturopathic medicine. As a result, Dr. Kelly believes that our orientation to stress, movement, body and food strongly affects our health. With this mindset Kelly strives to use her diverse set of skills and experiences to collaborate with her patients - working with them to create manageable, holistic treatment plans that engage both mind and body.

Before studying at Bastyr Dr. Kelly completed a self-designed Bachelor of Arts in Biology, Theology and Spanish at Seattle Pacific University. After graduating she traveled to a clinic in Nicaragua for a two-month internship with Natural Doctors International where she witnessed the effectiveness of naturopathic medicine in low resource settings. This experience cemented her belief in the power of patient education and meaningful client/physician relationships.

As first-year resident at One Connection Healthcare, Dr. Kelly works closely with Drs. Stokely and Rak to provide both primary and adjunctive care. She is happy to have found a residency that is committed to the Health at Every Size model, and to patient respect and advocacy. These values align well with Kelly’s goal that each client leave her office empowered to care for themselves and for their community.
